We just had the conversation about the Bamboo curtain, that Asian Americans were perhaps held to higher admissions standards than others. I'm not sure I am convinced by that argument, but isn't this in principle the same issue? Women are held to higher standards for admission than men? At least women basketball players are held to higher standards than male basketball players?Â
It is an honest question. I'm sure athletics has thought about this before.Â
