It added up to the fact that Stanford got to the Final Four four straight years, and has no national titles in that span to show for it.   The Cardinal lost to Tennessee in the 2008 finals and to Connecticut in the 2009 semifinals and the 2010 championship game.  This one had to be the toughest to swallow for two reasons – this is the only one of the four that came down to the final seconds, and A&M was the only one of the four opponents that was not better than Stanford.
