terry, bows/arrows are treated as firearms by Santa Clara county, iirc.Â I always wondered if any Stanford cops would recognize archery gear in a Pelican hard case carried on a bike.Â Even the relatively light 20lb (draw weight) bows shooting target tips can be lethal.

I was briefly in the archery club and we practiced on the field by the intersection of El Camino and Serra. That's right down the street from the police station so I can't believe they just didn't know about it, it must've been deemed okay.
