I want Gary!  Has Stanford ever had a #1 overall player?

How much would it cost to cart northwest water to California?

The Northwest isn't doing so hot despite the rain they get.  The snowpack in the Cascades is incredibly low right now, almost as bad as the Sierras.  They've been getting water, but it's been as unusually warm like down here.

Hmm, according to this article there are droughts up in parts of Oregon and Washington too:  http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usda...3/0062.xml

Snowpack in the Olympics (4%) is even lower than in the Cascades (8-45%).  We received a decent amount of rain this winter, but little snow in the mountains.
