It does feel like this 2016 class is shaping up to be potentially epic by Stanford standards, in that it feels there is a lot more early momentum this year than in the last couple classes, and a lot more guys saying Stanford is atop their list this early.  Makes it look like a lot more guys are preparing themselves academically for Stanford earlier in their high school career.

The 2012 class started with Carter, Shittu, and Davis.  That was a heck of a Spring, and you saw what happened as momentum built in that class.  As Hulk notes, there are more geographic hurdles than there were in 2012, but there still is remarkable potential for the 2016 class.  On top of everything else, if Donald Stewart comes, does that give Stanford a legitimate shot with his classmate, Rashan Gary?
