It's got to be tough to overcome both parents being SC alums.
That said, SC has a horrible track record of QBs in the NFL. Sure they make it, but then fall flat on their faces. Here is a current list of SC QBs in the NFL:
Matt Barkley
Matt Cassel
Carson Palmer
Mark Sanchez
That's three Pro Bowls between four guys
SC QBs drafted over the past 10 years:
