I agree that this won't be a litmus test: I'm pretty sure what we have in Dawkins, and that's a sort of buoyant averageness. We'll stay afloat but not really steaming ahead.

Short of disaster, I can't see Muir firing Dawkins anytime soon. Maybe an utter collapse would do it.
