Think of our funding as a kinder and gentler "Reaping" in Hunger Games.  Every 3-4 years we come around and make you all feel really guilty about not sending your children to fight to death to keep us on the internet.  Then, when you're vulnerable, we ask for a nominal donation [ $20-$100 has been our historic range] and twice it has worked and we've been good to go.  The difference is we don't owe nuttin' to no fancy, high-falutin' national syndicate and we keep Yvonne locked in the basement working virtually for free.  That might be changing.  So far our biggest cost is web hosting fees, paid bi-annually.  That, and me using the Cardboard funds to cover my undisciplined personal Visa overages.
