Haha no not livestock. Missionaries serve for about 2 years in a completely different environment. They learn new languages, and a bunch of new things. Missionaries however cannot have any relations with women romantically or anyone. Their sole purpose is to go serve and preach and they don't do anything bad. Return missionaries come back more disciplined, less likely to do stupid stuff, and they generally come back a little taller because they grow on their missions. Better yet they still 4-5 years of eligibility left
