Apparently he was making around $140,000 at UCLA, and supposedly Texas said they could go as high as tripling the salary for a top-notch coach.
Interesting question about the UCLA finances. Would seem pretty strange if the beach program didn't get a cut of the B1G money. I guess the other side is that beach doesn't generate any revenue for the B1G.
