still pretty cryptic but my take is his parents want Stanford and his brother and cousin want Nebraska and he wants to please everyone.

looks like youngest Peat brother Cassius isn't a fan of playing in the Nebraska cornfields. So it is the younger brother and parents versus the older brother and cousin. I think the parents and younger brother win out on this one.

Cassius is lean and hungry and probably doesn't care where Andrus goes as long as he's the only brother left at the dinner table.

I hope we get Peat, but mostly, I hope he does what is best for him and stops trying to please others.
I would expect parents would be the most disinterested observers/participants in this process. Only exception would be if they strongly felt they did not want a kid to be far away--wherever it was. I guess then, by definition, they would not be disinterested, though. Otherwise, parents should have their kid's best interests at heart. I hope.

parents should hardly be disinterested observers, they just shouldn't make the final decision. And his parents were pushing Todd to Stanford until be wasn't admitted.

Do you think Murphy and Peat will impact each other's decision, since I'm guessing both want to play and see themselves playing LT?

No considering there's competition at any top program and they're both announcing the same day. It's not like one annouced well in advance before the other.

FWIW on Peat, a high percentage of Nebraska fans think he's Stanford-bound. I'd guess 50-55%. Would've expected more confidence, so I found that surprising.
