Off to pick up my son at a birthday party... hoping that when I get home a few minutes after kickoff it will be 7-0 Stanford after McCaffrey returns the opening kickoff for a touchdown.

Wright is becoming a goal line TD specialist.  He's good at finding just the right seam to score.

Correlation may not be causation, but it sure looks like the coaches took the message to run the ball to heart.  One pass on a third and 4 in the entire drive.  McCaffrey already has 40 yards.

When McCaffrey made it to the 1 yard line, I called the play... But predictable is fine when it works.

I think for every 5 times we run that beast formation, Hogan should pull it out and run a naked bootleg or drop it off to a TE on an out route.

It really rubs me the wrong way how McCaffrey helps the offense grind all the way down the field and then is rewarded by Wright vulturing his touchdowns.  I know it's a team game and what matters is the score, but I have a hard time believing Christian isn't capable of punching it in.
