I hadn't ever noticed this before, but it sure looks to me like the Trojan wields a gladius. That seems about the same as giving a conquistador an M-16. I guess a bronze sword would probably be expensive...

You expect historical accuracy from that place?

Not particularly, but I find it amusing that it's so wrong.

I love that fake pitch by CMach5 if only because it makes $outhernCal exemplify their mascots' famous gullibility.
I thought about naming Publius Bostonicus, Achilles because he was history's greatest slayer of Trojenz. Unfortunately the name is now associated with weakness.

The Tro.jans were historically accurate last Saturday night. They lost.

That's why they're Literature's Greatest Losers.

I think convention is that you should never bite on the fake and always force the pitch. Deliver the tackle, and hopefully the pitch gets dropped and your teammate, who should be playing assignment football, will make the tackle on the other man.

Loved the body language on the Trojan defense after the Hooper touchdown.

What was the attendance at the game? (And how many of those people were left at the end...?)Â :P
Re: Please post the hype video! - teejers1 - 09-25-2015
If by "body language" you're including no desire/interest in tackling Hooper . . . then I agree!! :) :)
