Kirk picked Arizona State to win the Pac-12 and be in the playoffs.

Kirk did pick Stanford to play Arizona State in the Pac-12 championship game.

Corso picked Oregon to win the Pac-12 and be in the playoffs.

Did he really pick us to win the NATIONAL championship? In the link they're only discussing the Pac-12 and Desmond chooses Stanford. I couldn't find their discussion about the playoffs.

He did, as they were all signing off.  I'm not sure the others even heard him say it.

I am surprised nobody has mentioned this yet.  Desmond Howard is predicting Stanford to win the national championship over Bama.  I posted on this old thread to remind everybody that he's made this prediction before and it turned out not to be so crazy.

Actually the same shade according to Vegas.  When he made the prediction in 2015 we got 40-1 odds (I placed a bet at a sports book in Vegas).  Prior to the Rice game, we were 60-1.  Desmond made his prediction after the Rice game so probably at around 40-1.

This team seems less likely to win it all - so arguably a worse dark horse, or an even darker horse.
