Got my paper copy of ESPN the magazine last week - the football preview issue. In the middle of the Harbaugh vs Meyer article there is a four page foldout ad for Nissan trucks with a very obvious and very clever Stanford spin.
I'm kind of taken aback. Am wondering if this was just a regional edition (I'm in San Diego) or if ESPN has the ability to note that I have Stanford as a favorite on my ESPN online profile. That may sound a little like 70s conspiracy theory bad movie fare, but hey, I'm class of 1972.
Anyone else notice this, or am I the only one who still gets paper magazines, or did I just miss the thread that has already touched on this?

Nothing to worry about. Disney recently bought the NSA and merely shared some data with ESPN.Â

Just never write "the eagle has landed" in an email. The story is Elvis did. We all know how that ended :(
