Good one, Yvonne. Oh, and re Paly High - Redrum - 12-18-2010
One of the stars of their defense-- and defense won it for them-- is DE Kevin Anderson who is going to move his act a couple hundred yards across El Camino to play for us. Got his pic in the LA Times tackling for a safety, arguably the winning margin in the game even though it happened in the first half.
People who watched Anderson play say the player he is most like is Chase Thomas. Relentless, high motor kind of player. Â Reportedly caused problems for Centennial the entire game. Nice.

Some good Stanford /Pac Ten future matchups in the California playoffs.
Anderson and Eubanks (he has offers from several Pac-Ten schools).
Jordan Richards and future USC wide receiver George Farmer in today\'s Folsom Serra game.

Richards had a nice game as Folsom pulled away 2nd half for a comfortable win. Caught passes, kickoffs, & ran very well, showing nice speed and balance on a very sloppy field. WR, RB, DB all possible.
Fun to see Folsom with Richards as their only D-1 prospect run away from Serra with at least 7 D-1 kids including Farmer (USC). Alas, Farmer looks like the real deal and joining with former Serra teammate Robert Woods is going to give them a lethal WR combo for several years.
I know Socal football is supposed to be the best.. -

...but NorCal teams won four of the five state championship games. Â De La Salle obliterated Servite in the Open Division 48-8, Paly beat Centennial in Division I 15-13 (Paly was heavy underdogs), Folsom licked Serra of Gardena 48-30, Escalon beat Madison of San Diego in D3 by a score of 30-14. Â Only in the smallest, most devout division, D4 Brookside Christian of Stockton lost to the Bishop\'s School of La Jolla, 40-14.
It was theorized that the swampy field and rainy conditions were favorable to us NorCal types.
