WBB: Alanna Smith Article - 81alum - 05-01-2015

A very nice article on incoming Aussie post Alanna Smith:

The discussion of her previous back injury was new to me, but she seems to be entirely healthy now.

I think we understood this,  :D.  Alanna is playing now in a top league, one that includes Micheala Ruef.

I just came across this Jake Curtis round-up of the season:

Was this a successful season? the articles asks.

ESPN HoopGurlz just re-released the 2016 rankings and Anna Wilson got majorly downgraded to a 3-star recruit and is no longer among the top 60 in next year's class.

Natalie Chou is the only top recruit we are targeting apparently and she's only top-15.  Any chance we have among any of the uncommitted top-10?

There was a feature article on Megan Walker, Class of 2017's top prospect, but as usual, UConn, Notre Dame were mentioned and Stanford is nowhere in sight.

I wonder if something happened to Anna?  The last article I can find was very flattering at the end of the 2014 season:

http://espn.go.com/espnw/athletes-life/article/9051105/anna-wilson-lives-family-legacy-espnw

And then another very positive feature from January of this year:

I wonder how her 2015 season went?

Postscript:  I found this from April:

http://www.dailypress.com/sports/dp-spt-boo-girls-wilson-20150424-story.html

She seems to be gaining experience and making steady progress.  I can't see any reason why her ranking should drop.

Great find 81.  Boo is one of the highest profile teams in the country.  Same with cal_stars mentioned in the story.
