Injuries including a concussion are cited as a reason. His stats don't make it sound like he was a star, but was in competition for starting QB, so this definitely registers as a blow to Mason.
What the article made me think of most, though, is whether college players are quitting in unusually high numbers, or whether the press is just reporting on it more than in the past. Reading ESPN, it sounds like an epidemic, but I wonder how the actual numbers compare with past years.

Any word where Evan Crower is headed? Per Garvin's theory I'm more excited about him than Hogan, Luck, Stenstrom, Plunkett and Elway combined.
