Home and home uniforms for Big Game - Bruce Wang - 02-13-2015

Saw this on /cfb and it got me thinking, have we ever played Big Game in home and home uniforms?  I've never thought about it.  I think the red v blue would look great.  I have to admit that when $outhernCal plays UCLA in home and home jerseys, the color looks neat.

I do love SC and UCLA's home uniform combo, but I personally really like seeing our road all whites. And I would be displeased seeing the kal home unis on our turf.

I don't remember but I think they did this for the 100th Big Game.  I agree they should do it every year.

What he said. It's bad enough that the weenies tore down our goalpost after the 100th Big Game. Which they lost.

I liked the stormtrooper whites when the team literally came out of the student section at Port-A-John Memorial Stadium.  But now they don't do that any more.  Best was when the band played the Star Wars Imperial theme when they came out.

At our wedding reception, we entered the reception to the award ceremony music at the end of A New Hope. My better half agreed to it because it wasnt obviously Star Wars. My fellow Star Wars nerds got it and loved it.

I think what USC and UCLA do is neat with their unis, but they play in the same city.  Stanford and Berkeley are quite far apart.  Though, I suppose to the rest of the country it's all just San Francisco.

Whenever you see a Stanford -- or 59er game -- on TV the producers can't resist shots of cable cars right before commercials.

I think when Mrs Winflop & I renew our vows at MemChu for our 25th I will at least have a recording of All Right Now playing.  I was not allowed to get married there but this time I will not be denied.

I love when the L.A. schools do the home and home jerseys, and I'd love to see it become a Big Game tradition.
