Wow, better than Darrin Nelson - Redrum - 11-29-2010

Of course, Nelson has receiving stats that he accumulated along with the rushing numbers.  Taylor hasn\'t touched those, but still pretty heady stuff for a sophomore.    Taylor is probably thinking--if he is thinking about it at all--  "Darrin who?"

Re: Taylor and Whitaker in the record book - Card Fan in OR - 11-29-2010

I think it\'s time to stop underappreciating Stephan Taylor. After the next game, he could have more  yards rushing in a season than anyone not named Toby. Maybe he has an extra game or two, but this is still a notable achievement for someone who--unlike the others in the list--has not been the focus of the offense. Congratulations, Stephan.

Re: Taylor and Whitaker in the record book - jayasena - 11-29-2010

It\'s pretty remarkable to think that if it weren\'t for Toby\'s numbers (man, that guy sure messed up the curves for these stats :)), Stepfan could well be on his way to a new single-season rushing yardage school record. And he\'s only a sophomore who shared the running plays with several others for a good part of the season! Naturally, this speaks volumes of the o-line as well.

Re: Taylor and Whitaker in the record book - fullmetal - 11-29-2010

The balanced offense means that yardage and TDs have been more or less been equally split between passing and rushing, right?  What a team!
