Your reward, your dessert.  Pure Harbaugh - Redrum - 11-28-2010

"Pret-tty good.  Pret-tty, pre-tty good"  (grin)
[not even Harbaugh is immune from the marauding software]

Do yourself a favor.  Watch this post-game press conference.  You get Luck.  You get Chase Thomas.  You get Doug Baldwin  and you get 13 minutes of pure, unadulterated Harbaugh.   You can see why the players will do, and have done,  anything to win with the guy.  I am going to miss this season SO much.

Click on the link and then the Video tab above the picture.  I think it runs for everybody, not just those with Stanford All-Access.

I\'ll take your word for it. I have fairly fast DSL and that is the jerkiest, slowest-loading video of all time. Couldn\'t bear to watch and wait, watch and wait.

The software has achieved an oddly poetic effect here: who indeed would want to endure futility since 1959?

All I can say, Cowboy, is...call back later - Redrum - 11-28-2010

Based on jerkiness alone,  I\'d say you called up Kal\'s website by accident.  But it\'s probably Stanford\'s  over-matched, under-built internet infrastructure.  OK, OK ,  it\'s whatever the website contractor has going.   But I digress.   Wait a while and watch when the traffic diminishes.   It\'s just never been a problem before.

I just watched it and it was perfectly smooth for me.

When a streaming video is choppy, you can almost always pause the video for a minute and then run it with no problems. This does not work for live events.

Harbaugh is a great football coach.  He\'ll never be a politician.  That\'s good for Stanford.

Re: Your reward, your dessert.  Pure Harbaugh - GoodGrief - 11-29-2010

If you get a chance to watch it, it\'s fantastic. Coach Harbaugh comes up around the 8 minute mark. If you\'re pressed for time, just watch from 7:00 to 9:00. You get our players being their typical Stanford self, which is proud but very modest. Then Harbaugh comes in completely relaxed and starts up with, "PRETTY GOOD! PRETTY GOOD!"

I love that we can have our players be articulate and humble in interviews, and then our coach can come up and say whatever is on his mind, including that we\'re one of the top teams in the country and that Andrew Luck deserves the Voldemort. Coach Harbaugh\'s non-Stanford attitude is part of what makes him such a great fit here.

I like Andrew\'s answer when asked whether the team is good enough for a BCS bowl. (nods) "Yeah," (pause) "yeah, I do."

I think Jim was channeling Larry David with his pretttttty good intro there.

Oh and btw, Harbaugh is going to be at the Michigan team banquet this Thursday for the 25th anniversary of the \'85 Michigan team. No biggie.

Or not. Well, maybe.
