Sagarin\'s Predictor ranking places Stanford at #1.
PREDICTOR is the single best predictor of future games. Â So right now, neutral field Stanford vs Oregon, or any team for that matter, Sagarin\'s system would predict a Stanford win.
Back to reality.
ELO_CHESS has Stanford at #4. This is the ranking that is part of the computer rankings in the BCS Formula.
Rating is the synthesis of the two and has Stanford at #2, behind Oregon.

Name brands and perceptions take a long time to change. Â Yesterday, Stanford-Oregon State was on Versus, while ND-USC was on ABC.
