I hope he gets absolutely shelled.

(This better not be 2002 all over again.....)

How about we hope he gives up one unearned run, but that Hudson pitches a shutout.

What happened in 2002 was karma. The way Dusty Baker handed the ball to his pitcher (don't even remember the guy's name - was it Ortiz?) was just asking the woof gods to smite the Giants a good one. If this blows up tonight - which I hope it doesn't - it's just the breaks. Blame it on the National league losing the All Star game. No way would Bochy have done as bonehead a thing as Baker did.

Not the shelling I wanted, but both starters chased in a tight one. I don't think my wife's Panda pillow is going to make it.

It was Russ Ortiz.....

Well, Panda Pillow made it.

Bumgarner for King of Everything.

Bumgarner with a pedestrian outing . . . 100 years ago.

The best World Series pitching since another giant, Christy Matthewson, threw three complete game shutouts--in the 1912 World Series.
