It was too hard to cheer for SC. Â Watching SC receivers drop critical passes in that last drive was just too good.
The one drop that was a sure TD was just hilarious. Â I hope that does not come back to hurt Stanford. Â The Notre Dame win is a net positive for the Big Ten schools, so that could be problematic.
My guess is that the #4/#5 standings will be close enough that the various conference championship games next week could impact Stanford\'s BCS position.

So the effect on our strength of schedule should be a push (roughly). Â I just hate the idea of the Domers going 7-5....and, yes, I can root for USC under those circumstances.

Yes, but Big 10 schools played ND. Â And all the Pac-10 schools played USC. Â So it is a net negative for us even though we played both.
