Agreed. This is absolute garbage.
Stanford needs a play call consultant, or something similar, because it's obvious there's something mindblowingly wrong with this team.
I can't wait until Chryst / Burns takes over next year, because Hogan. Also, why isn't Daniel Marx playing more? He received some playing time earlier this year, so his RS was burned. This might solve the "No 220+ back, no running game" conundrum.

Marx? The guy who got stuffed when the game was on the line against U$C? Don't mean to dismiss him based on one play, but I doubt if he is a Taylor or a Gaffney.

We don't have a Taylor or a Gaffney on the team this year. Maybe we'd be better off if the staff had realized that last Spring and designed an offense with that in mind.Â

.....after watching Joey Alfieri looking very "Gerhartesque" in tearing up Portland HS defenses last year (at least until he got injured) I think he could potentially be that type of player.
He apparently prefers defense, though, so I guess that's where he is going to end up.

It is a curious thing about Marx though, I think that's a good point... because I was going to bring it up earlier ;). He got his feet tangled with Ward's who was blocking for him on that failed attempt against .S.C to convert a 4th down near the goal line, and nothing from him since?
