Aaron Rodgers v. Richard Sherman - BostonCard - 09-05-2014

Well, that was the match-up yesterday between one of the (I can't believe I'm saying this) top QB's in the NFL, and probably the best cornerback in the league right now.  So, aside from the fact that the Seahawks easily beat the Packars, how did that matchup go?

Turns out Aaron Rodgers didn't challenge Sherman once.  He never threw to a receiver being covered by Sherman.

That was an embarrassment.  Professional athletes, at the highest level of competition in a sport, and one won't even attempt to challenge the other.  Sends a horrible message to the team.  Why even play the game when you are going to be so afraid to compete?  Again, simply embarrassing by the Packers, McCarthy, and/or Rodgers.

Would love to know what Sherman said to Rodgers at the end of the game...brief encounter shown on TV, but no sound.

Re: Aaron Rodgers v. Richard Sherman - fullmetal - 09-06-2014

Smart decision if there were receivers who were more open.  It is what it is--a team game, team effort.
