Hey Uncle Chuck, where are you? Stanford advanced 7 men and 7 women to the NCAAs out of the Regionals this weekend.Â

Do we have any prospects racing in the California state high school meet in Clovis on Friday? I'll be there since my daughter's 4x100 relay made it in--but that is the first race of the meet and it might be interesting to have something else to look forward to watching :)

Thanks Bob. My daughter runs for Gunn, so Sarah Robinson is her teammate--but Sarah is a couple of years older and a distance runner so they don't know each other well. I knew Sarah got a soccer scholarship but did not know she would run track too for Stanford. She is quite amazing. She is tiny compared with her competition. The first time I saw her run I was not paying very careful attention, and I did not understand why she was behind when her stride seemed so much better than the other competitors. Needless to say, it was because she had lapped more than half the field.
A really sweet girl from all I have heard.
Have seen Taylor Jacques too, since she is in the CCS, and Marisa Kwiakowski a few times since she is also in the CCS. They are seniors...are both of them headed to Stanford next year?
Thanks for the list! Â

Pretty sure Robinson will not run track at Stanford. She was # 2 in soccer in her class prior to an injury, obliously fully recovered. Robinson is one of the top 10 distance runners in the US, HS.
Yes all Srs.
The only possible recruit I know of at the State is JR SPer Katnik. a 65 footer.Â
