Candice Wiggins Signs with LA Sparks - pauloalto - 04-02-2014

Does this mean I'll have to start following an LA team???

Weren't you already following them because of Nneka?

Re: Candice Wiggins Signs with LA Sparks - pauloalto - 04-02-2014

I confess I haven't been following the WNBA much at all. I've checked in a few times to see how various Cardinal alumni are doing statistically, but not much more. But with Candice and Nneka on the same team, it's tempting. What networks carry games?

Re: Candice Wiggins Signs with LA Sparks - CompSci87 - 04-02-2014

The Sparks have a deal with their local cable company, and all their games are televised locally. If you aren't in LA and don't get them on TV, you can watch online via wnba.com. (Click on "Live Access" at the top of the page.) Last year wnba.com charged only a one-time $10 registration fee to access the full season of games by all teams. A few games that are on national TV are blacked out live, but you can still see replays. For some teams where the game isn't being televised locally, you get a crummy scoreboard video feed with audio from the local radio announcers, but you get a nice production of all of LA's home games.

NBA TV also carries a lot of WNBA games, while ESPN2 will carry 6 of their 36 games.
