Rivals Promotion - Hank 91 - 01-09-2014

I've subscribed to Rivals.com for a couple years now, and I think the content behind the paywall is generally worth the price of admission. Here's the added bonus, though. A few times year -- and right now is one of those times -- they run a promotion. If you sign up for a $99 annual subscription (or upgrade from a monthly plan to that annual set up), they'll give you a coupon code worth $99 in their merchandise store.

Put another way, spend $99 on Stanford gear you'd probably buy otherwise, and you get a free one-year membership. As I said, I just upgraded and bought a replica Stanford helmet that will look great on my shelf. Can't wait.

Thanks for the tip Hank.  I could use another Stanford t-shirt, since the luck has worn out on all the stuff I own.  (During the 2nd half, I went through every Stanford clothing item I own).  Also the kid definitely needs more.  She only has a Stanford hoodie that she wore to Big Game for the first time.  It's her favorite piece of clothing because she associates it with COMPLETE AND TOTAL FUN.

I'm about to cancel my subscription to scout and get one for rivals I think.  The reporting from them is pretty limited, and frankly the best people from the board I'm pretty sure are almost all moving over here...

Re: Rivals Promotion - PrinceLightfoot - 01-11-2014

Usually, I head straight to the content behind the paywall...thanks for the heads up on the promotion, Hank! I upgraded from monthly to annual a couple of days ago and received the promotion in email today.

A couple of Stanford sweaters are on the way  :)
