Saying bye to Stanford's most successful senior class - BostonCard - 12-27-2013

I wanted to pen some thoughts at some point on the group of seniors and fifth year seniors who are leaving us as the most successful senior class in Stanford's history, having gone to four BCS bowls, having won 46 (hopefully 47 games) the last four years.  I don't think words can convey what an amazing turnaround this is, considering that these guys arrived when the stench of Wlat's 1-11 season was still fresh.  Anyways, the Daily has a nice roundtable...

I echo their sentiments (with one caveat... while there are plenty of lower rated players in those two classes -- my favorite being Ben Gardner's last minute addition as a 2* player -- there are a good deal of four and five star players: Skov was a 5* MLB, ranked in the top-3 at his position, Gaffney was a 4* player, ranked as the #3 FB, Amanam was a 4* RB, Wilkerson and Carrington were both 4* players, and there are more who just didn't pan out).
