Though unlikely, I suspect ND will have to drop NW (or Rice) next year to get their schedule down to 12. Though, I don't know where the idea that Stanford would replace UCD with NW came from.

Well, according to the article anyway...the three teams ahead of Stanford are FSU, Bama, and Auburn in that order (presumably without NFL departures as well).
