I'm flipping back and forth between this and the Jameis Winston Show. Who do we cheer against? It's a wash on strength of schedule, right?
I'll cheer against ND bc they've been more of a recruiting threat and beat us more recently.

I wanted the Pac12 to go 3-0 vs Not're Dam'e this season. I would rather the Pac12 appear strong overall.

In terms of SOS, we should root for USC. They play more teams we also play since they're in our conference.

I guess for the other game, we are now cheering for the complete destruction of Clemson so that they fall past us?
On a somewhat related note, you should have seen the jaw drop on this Stanford grad that joined us for the UCLA game when I mentioned to him that we almost got Jameis Winston.

As usual, I root for an earthquake to swallow both teams whole. Disappointed yet again.

I can't pull for either team. Whenever the cameras show Kelly I start rooting for USC. Whenever they show Orgeron I become an Irish fan. It's hard to find a less charismatic set of opposing coaches in a game not involving Mike Leach. Perhaps the best a Stanford fan can hope for is ineffective play from both sides suggesting easy wins ahead.
If so we got it - Both teams are self-destructing in the second half with only the Irish defense looking competent. The Irish starting QB, Tommy Rees, is out with what looks like a concussion and the Irish back-up can't complete a pass or hold on to the football. His passes haven't even shared the same zip code with the Notre Dame wide receivers so the Irish mostly ran in an attempt to kill the clock and hold on to the four point lead they took into half time. Surprisingly this strategy worked.
As low of a bar as the Irish offense set the Troja.ns didn't do much better when they had the ball. Any time they built any momentum their D-Line committed holding penalties so obvious that a Pac 12 ref could see them. Their kicker missed his field goals, they turned the ball over on 4th down and they didn't score even when gift-wrapped three drives with starting field positions on the ND side of the field.
I think we smoke either of these teams.
(Florida State and famous Jameis are hanging fifty on Clemson. Ouch!)
