When we are perceived as the arrogant, cocky ones in our football rivalry with U$C.
As I\'ve posted before, I never thought I\'d see the day.
U$C losing to us and saying, "Well, at least it wasn\'t as bad as last year."

*Plaschke gets a bit of a pass because he got a hold on the USC/Reggie Bush/Mayo thing and wouldn\'t let it go...to his credit.

Back on topic: I\'ve actually always liked Ratto. I thought his snarkiness was clever. Dickey just hated us and didn\'t care who knew it. Wilner tries to be clever, but isn\'t.

Yeah, I used to like Ratto too ... he wears on you when consumed daily.
The first time you see the local bully eviscerate your rival it\'s sort of evil fun. When he does it every day, to every team and eventually turns the verbal cannon on you? Not so fun - it just seems a little mean.
Maybe that\'s why I like reading Plashke - he\'s humorous in small doses and I haven\'t seen him shakedown USC,UCLA, Long Beach and the Clippers for their lunch money 30 times each.

I thought that this thread might be a discussion of Stanford\'s dominance over USC in the past two days:
WSoc won 2-1
WVB won 18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-15
Water Polo upset #1 and previously undefeated USC 5-3
And the football team did ok too

Yes, it was a moral victory for USC to keep it close against Stanford. Kiffin also called Stanford Stadium "a tough place to play".
I think it\'s pretty clear from his interviews that USC athletics is a stanford wannabe under pat haden. he\'s all about womens sports.
