12 game winning streak - terry - 09-29-2013

Stanford's winning streak now stands at 12 games. It's the second longest active winning streak in the nation (behind Ohio State's 17), and it's one of the longest winning streaks in school history. Stanford's longest winning streaks:

17  2010-11 (last 8 games of '10, first 9 games of '11)
13  1904-05 (last 5 games of '04, all 8 games of '05)
13  1939-41 (last game of '39, all 10 games of '40, first 2 games of '41)
12  2012-13 (last 8 games of '12, first 4 games of '13) (active)
12  1925-26 (last 2 games of '25, first 10 games of '26)

It's pretty amazing that in 110 seasons of football, two of Stanford's all-time longest winning streaks have come in the last four seasons.
