Official Training Camp Thread - AthleticsDynasty - 08-20-2013

I figured I would make this thread rather than make a new thread for every training camp subject.

Looks like Devon Cajuste has established himself as the starter opposite Ty Montgomery

Do you always listen to the moons of Jupiter?

Callisto has a direct line to my brain, so I don't blame him.

Wasn't Ganymede the cupbearer to the Gods?  We could sure use one of those with all that Directors Cup hardware cluttering up the place.  Plus, the NC game winner gets a cup, right?

Re: Official Training Camp Thread - rudruff - 08-20-2013

The Director's Cups are the reason the football games weren't sold out last year. Shortage of space, so they stored them in seats at the stadium.

You should always have a backup. If European football teams don't make the Champions League, there's always the Europa league. So if Io doesn't work out, get a second opinion there.

Nike football's twitter page takes us as inspiration (from our locker room):

"This is stop number ten for us, and Stanford is at least by far in my estimation probably the best looking team thus far in terms of physical play..."

Do articles ever get edited anymore?

I realize the guy isn't an expert on the Pac-12, but most people know U$C is not in Seattle.

And we didn't lose to U$C, either ... in Seattle or anywhere else!  ::)

Re: Official Training Camp Thread - yvonne - 08-21-2013

From everything  I've heard from the players and coach, it doesn't have its eyes set on Pasadena Jan. 6. It has its eyes on winning the Pac-12 championship, and letting the chips fall where they may. That much, the team has control over. Everything else is in the hands of people who know as much about the team as that writer does.
