I loved this part:
Quote:Im not going anywhere. Im staying here, he says. Ive had opportunities to go other places and I choose to stay here. I love working with the guys that I get a chance to work with every day, and my profession and my rolethats what I do, I spend time with the players. I love those guys and the opportunity to grind with them every day is not something I am willing to walk away from for more money or what I perceive to be a better job.
Theres nothing else I could do and be happy, he continues. I tell people when they want to be volunteer interns: if theres something else that you could do and be happy, then you should go do that, because theres not enough money, theres not enough credit, theres not enough free time. Its a consuming profession, but its very rewarding because of the impact that you can have on the young men and women that you get a chance to work with.
Hasn't Mason said something similar? (And of course Shaw too.) What other program inspires these kinds of reactions?
