---Useful against opponents' dirtbag coaches who will say
anything in praise of their own school's academics.
---Useful to get recruits to think about Stanford as
more than just an admissions hurdle they have clear in high school.
---Useful to poke random B.ares in the eye when they start reciting their catechism about how easy Stanford's academics are and how inflated its reputation.
Nice piece on Usua Amanam...put out by the
academic bods.

Nice piece. I don't think it will achieve that goal, however. They think ordinary Stanford students get A's simply by showing up, and that students can drop classes after they fail a final. It's ludicrous to the point that they think that once students are accepted into Stanford, their academic life is no different than that of a student at a for-profit career college (Hence, my .signature)Â An athlete meeting that imagined standard even in energy resources engineering a wouldn't be very impressive. Even a
kal player failing in a sociology major could meet it, in their minds.
Well, if that's what it takes in assuage injured egos, so be it.
