Pac-12 returning starters -

Ted Miller compiles (though he leaves out Jordan Williamson):

Read somewhere that returning starters really matter at the margins -- returning 14-17 starters is basically a wash in terms of performance; less means problems and more is good. By that standard, 59ers and UCLA might be in for a rough year while the Washington schools could be poised for something interesting.

Yes, let's not forget the guy who provided the winning points in the 3 biggest games of the year. Stanford had a lot of heroes this past season. #19 should be remembered as one of them.

How does Ted Miller get to seven returning starters on offense for Stanford?
Hogan, Hewitt, Yankey, Wilkes, Danser, and Fleming is six.
Is Ty M. being counted as a returning starter?

You're right, that's a mistake. There are only 6 returning starters on offense. Miller probably is counting Montgomery, but Montgomery started only 4 games compared to 7 starts for Patterson.

Hey...what about Nunes? :) Or maybe Wilkerson...after all, he was the starter at "Wildcat" all season? ;D

For these purposes, Nunes is considered the returning starter rather than Hogan because Nunes started 9 games. But it doesn't matter because the number of returning starters is the same either way.
