Our favorite (or, at the very very least third-favorite) former quarterback:

Wow. My parents got me a subscription to SI when I was about 9 or 10 (the FIRST issue that arrived was the swimsuit issue, which sent my feminist mother into a fit, something she STILL talks about almost 35 years later), and I kept it up until just a few years ago when I realized I wasn't reading it very often. Now I just pick it up on the newsstand when there's a cover I want to save. I had no idea our boy was on the cover -- now I've got to run out and see if I can find a copy. So glad he's doing so well.

I love Andrew to death and I hope he fulfills your prediction but the operative term up there is 'gonna'. The other guys already have their two.

Although it wasn't pretty, and it included a "what-was-he-thinking?" Pick Six, Andrew Luck actually managed to beat the Sports Illustrated jinx on Sunday!

Damn, schooling your "boss" on grammar is a bit of a risky move for a rookie. I'd expect a vet to force Luck to speak with poor grammar the rest of the season to teach him a lesson.

The game yesterday was pretty ugly. It's amazing that they keep finding ways to win, despite all the turnovers. The center to Luck hand off was terrible and flubbed a couple of times. A Colt WR was unable to catch a beautifully thrown ball in the end zone that basically hit him in the mask. Luck was throwing high and wide on many of his passes (partly due to being under duress). And Luck made a horrible decision to throw that ball that turned into a pick-six, even if his knee was down (but not with indisputable evidence, apparently.) I suspect they're a one-and-done team for the play offs, but that team's going to grow up fast.
