Not surprised. The Badgers took the best team in the Big10 and the rightful #1 or #2 team in the country to OT. Said team trampled the Huskers.

Rightful #1 or #2? Only if you believe that neither NCAA violations nor schedule strength matter.Â
None of the six computer rankings used by the BCS puts Ohio State higher than #3, and one (Sagarin) ranks them #10.

Has Wisconsin gotten good, or is it just that Nebraska is making them look good? 28-10 in the second quarter???

How about that ACC fan embarassment. And they played on a Saturday. You think ESPN will insult those conferences like they do ours? Nope.Â
I love how ESPN is painting that Alabama-GA game as a "classic". It was a decent game, but "classic"? Alabama's clock management in the first half looked like a high school game. And the way it ended is enough to take it out of the "classic" realm. Is Aaron Murray not aware of the intentional spike? He let way too many seconds run off and probably cost them the game. In the last instance-- instead of 15 seconds to take 3 shots at it from the 10, he doesn't spike it, then completes a short pass inbounds and the clock expires. Biggest moment of the year and he "pulls a Riley". Classic? I think not. There was far more talent on the field last night. What they should be debating is whether this was enough to position Alabama ahead of Stanford or Oregon.  Â

35-10 Wisconsin. They look good. running attack is explosive as well as powerful. Do we have enough DL to match up with their jumbo packages?

42-10 at halftime.
Wisconsin is doing fly sweeps like they're Oregon. I'm actually starting to get worried about matching their edge-to-edge speed. Their D-line is also mauling Nebraska's O-line (although Martinez indecision does not help).
They're going to be a handful, and the worst part is that they're not ranked, so everyone will expect us to beat them (which is reasonable, but they're better than their 8-5 record indicates. They should've won a few close game that they lost).
All that being said, I still think we will get our first Rose Bowl in decades and revenge on Wisconsin all in one go!

classic question here: outlier or new team? Other than mighty Indiana, this is the most points Wisky's scored all year.

Nebraska is playing with backups on the DL. UCLA beat a much better Nebraska team. Nebraska's rush defense is terrible. Stanford's defense is much better than Nebraska's and Wisconsin's QB is not a threat to run.
I don't see what there is to worry about. Stanford will beat Wisconsin.
