Just like old times.  Schadenfreude overdose alert - Redrum - 09-18-2010

All you recent Cardboard members can step outside for a smok....er, for a bike ride.   This is just for the Old Guard.

Rembember the old days,  before Tedford, when Kal fans writhed like a bug on a pin?   Of course, they always hated us,   but they would just vent unbelievale hate on their own: the head coach, the coaching staff, the QB, the players...Reading their boards was such fun.  Twisted fun, but fun nonetheless.  Unbelievable bile and ill will.  Sometimes the Cyberbears admin would just shut down the board after a loss because the fans just got into this self-reinforcing hurricane of hate.

Well, last night the admin of the old Cyberbears site, Bear Insider,  just shut down the site in anticipation of the bloodletting and the unseemly sight of Bears eating their own.    Oh,  I\'m sure it was just technical difficulties.  Sheer coincidence.

Man, it takes me back.  Nice to know that in good times and bad times,  Be.ars will be Be.ars.   It\'s not circumstance, it\'s just in their nature.
