Maybe it was Dana... after sex reassignment - Redrum - 09-12-2010

Playing her little heart out for you, garvin.

Turning a convenient blind eye, garvin? - Redrum - 09-12-2010

The author wrote Delaney with an "ey" rather than Delano with an "o"...but for some reason you trust that he grasped the subtlety to correctly discriminate between  Delany and Delaney?   ;D ;D ;D

As for the Ink Bowl,  the way you locked up with that, ummm, amply-porportioned female OT rather than do your contain job, pretty much telegraphed your whole approach to women.  What success you have with them is because some women dig that monomanical focus on them.   Must break your heart that Dana won\'t fall for that " Hi-my-name-is-garvin-let\'s-have-ful-body- contact" shtick.

Scary to think that Miss Ink Bowl 1972, to whom you were so "attached\' is, like, 60 years old now.

I met someone last night at the alumni club game watching party (these things, non-Big-Game draw anywhere from 1-15 people) who was a Daily staffer.  She\'ll be at the Daily reunion party this October as well...quite a nicely insular community!  Smaller than the band, but with just as much pizazz.

Daily Staff reunions are different - Redrum - 09-13-2010

The basic trouble is that Daily copy editors are mean.   Meanness is all part and parcel of being a good copy editor.    Just look at Kathy.   These days spends a good deal of her time  with large farm animals.   Cows don\'t produce copy to be scrutinized and corrected.   It allows her to get in touch with a vestigial supportive, nurturing instinct.  But then she gets in her car and drives to work...editing.
