I guess he won't be taking that trip to Eugene now?  Even if he does, has Stanford EVER lost an admitted recruit to Oregon?

Admission season is upon us! It will be interesting to see if we have any totally-off-the-radar recruits who have gone through the admission process and make a jump to us if admitted, like Zach Hoffpauir last year (well, he was not totally off the radar) and Cam Fleming a few years ago.

BleacherReport says that Isaac Saivannea has a visit to Stanford coming up. Fingers crossed that everything progresses as hoped with these two.

I would also love to flip the former Virginia Linebacker commit (Rudolph?) back to Stanford away from ND.

Re: Peter Kalambayi admitted - OutsiderFan - 10-24-2012

As usual, there is a lot of speculation over the admit-ability of both Doug Randolph and Isaac S.

I've read reports (speculating) that Randolph has the goods for Stanford admission but chose ND anyway, from Irish fans, and Stanford people saying he was a real question mark on Stanford admission and that's why he committed to ND.  And I've read reports from Stanford fans saying they think Isaac S. is a question mark for Stanford admission.

No matter, Stanford landed Noor Davis and Blake Martinez last year in 2012, and Kalambayi, Barton, and Palma this year.  I'm pretty sure Isaac S. is the top remaining LB target for Stanford in the class of 2013.

In any case, don't rule out the possibility that the Stanford staff ended up wanting Palma over Randolph at OLB, and that's why Randolph reached out to ND as was reported.  There is also the possibility that if Randolph somehow did get back in with Stanford, Barton could be earmarked to Safety.

Barton's going on a mission so not necessarily relevant to this discussion.

FWIW there was a report recently that Stanford's still recruiting Doug Randolph. So...we'll see.
