OT Baby! - dabigv13 - 10-06-2012

Our defense has not played well, but I like their chances on a short field. Our red zone defense has been poor even still, but it will be hard for Arizona to get the hurry up momentum from the 25 I think.

Meanwhile Nunes has played a good half. Reminds me of Pritchard ala USC. His best game so far.

I never dreamed this team could win a shutout!

While I have nothing to prove this, I knew we'd win when RichRod declined to try and win with forty-five seconds left in the game. Gutless, awful call.

I don't know how bad a team must be to lose a shutout but I don't think we are that bad :P

Unbelievable. They score a field goal, they win. In overtime (especially this game), you go for a field goal and make it, you probably lose (unless it's the game winner obviously).

Matt Scott apparently doesn't put a lot of arc on his throws.  Stanford's knocked down at least two or three passes this game--we could have done more, I feel if defenders keyed in on that weakness.  But the guys up front got it done when it counted, and Chase Thomas made the play :)
