Is it demoralizing for a defense to have a QB like Nunes? -

Seems like a lot of pressure to keep the other team scoreless and then to not have offensive production of our own is just crushing.

Apparently not. Skov is one of his biggest supporters.

The only comment I read from Skov actually sounded somewhat lukewarm to me. Nunes has shown he can do it in practice?

At this point (early in the second half), Josh Nunes and the offense are performing better than the Stanford defense.

I have been one of the biggest voices criticizing Nunes so far but he has looked ok today. Our defense looks awful.
And with Stepfan Taylor going out, we just run a brobdingnagian TD. Maybe our speed goes up without Taylor.

So is Shaw as some point going to stop with the jump balls to Toilolo?

its bizarre, its like Nunes and the defense can't be good at the same time.

It may not be demoralizing, but it sure is tiring for the defense to keep going out there after repeated, non-scoring, short drives.
