I thought the overall quotes were overall very positive. I mean, the opening thing he says is, "His athletic ability speaks for itself; he can throw it like no one I've ever seen." You've edited out the context of the quote; the end makes it clear that he's tall enough, big enough, strong enough arm, etc., to go all the way to the pros.

It's behind their pay wall but Rivals Mike basically said Burns is the best QB he's seen all year and would put up monster numbers in a spread offense. He was at his game last weekend and said he looked like a college junior on some passes. At least we have him to look forward to. :-)

Yeah, I agree. I was just having fun.  ;)

I heard the coach's quote where he was praising so much (size, height, arm) and then when he got to intelligence, he was less glowing. I doubt it was intended to be disparaging, but it struck me as discordant and, hence, amusing. So I attempted to make light of it....
