And how did Oklahoma State fair after losing Weeden and Blackmon? -

84-0 and 682 yards with a True Frosh starting at QB, and three others playing in the game.
OK, it was Savannah State, but still. Pitt lost to Youngstown State today, and Maryland only beat William & Mary 7-6.
Stanford's play is cause for concern it would seem.

Our frosh are better than their frosh.
We should play them.
Glad you asked.... -

Because it's just around the corner:

But will it be as good without Blackmon's seven-layer dip, or Weeden's fried oreos? Not sure the Cowboys have proven they can survive the loss of that level of culinary expertise.

San Jose State is not a juggernaut, but a little perspective (found on another board) on Okie State's opponent is in order:
Bethune-Cookman began* as Daytona Educational and Industrial Training School for Negro Girls.
Bethune-Cookman attained University status in 2007.
Bethune-Cookman beat Savannah State 59-3 last year.
(Hats off to Mary McLeod Bethune who founded it in 1904 with just $1.50 and five students. Just a bit less than Leland Sr. probably started with 13 years prior.)

Savannah State is a Div. I FBS school that has a record of 2-20 over the last two seasons. They've had 13 straight losing seasons. Sagarin ranked them 241st out of 246 schools last year. A really, really bad team.
