Stanford\'s home and road records over the last two years:

It\'s great to have the feeling of owning our home field again. We lost our home field mojo for a while. From mid-2004 through late 2007, Stanford\'s home record was an atrocious 2-18. Is it any wonder the fans got discouraged? Harbaugh really has turned things around at home. Starting from the Big Game in 2007, Stanford\'s home record is 11-2. A terrific, welcome development.

Obviously, the next step is to do better on the road. Stanford is just 3-12 on the road since mid-2007, which may seem a bit surprising given that Stanford\'s two signature wins in the Harbaugh era have been in road games at USC. But those games aside, this team hasn\'t really learned how to win on the road. The only road wins in the last two years were at Washington in 2008, at WSU in 2009, and at USC in 2009.

There will be some excellent opportunities for big road wins this year. Here\'s hoping the team steps up.
