Not sure if the above is a ranking or just a list of his top 10, but we're in the discussion for possibly the highest ranked recruit (other than Jabari Parker) we've ever had. If it is a ranking and Stanford is his top choice (which I somewhat doubt), then wow.

Sounds he's got a good head on his shoulders coming from a pretty rough childhood, wants to become an orthopedic surgeon if football doesn't work out. The sort of kid we'd love to have at Stanford even if he wasn't a 5 star cornerback.
Hope we get him.

I see that Jane Campbell, who is also featured in the SI article, is a Stanford commit for the fall of 2013.

Interesting that he's rated so high there but he doesn't have a rating on either Rivals or ESPN.

I read a lot about this kid on an ND message board. He is a def 5 star CB but there is some baggage. He was originally at Don Bosco which is maybe the top football program in the country and transferred because he didn't get along with the coaches. And I think he had rubbed a lot of his teammates the wrong way due to being ranked so high in his class. But the good is I bet he's matured a bit so if he's interested then he'd be an amazing pickup. And I don't believe that list is in any order.

He's a 2014 player - ratings won't come out for another year.

Ah, ok. That makes a lot of sense.

Rivals confirmed Stanford leads for Peppers. #1 CB in the 2014 class. I know a lot can change from now until his NSD but I thought some good recruiting news would be nice considering the recent decommitment.
