(and yes, we lost it. Oklahoma State did not win it.)

Rule of Tree's Jack Blanchat is doing a series on guys who will need to step up for Stanford to succeed this year. When I surfed over to readtoday's article, I noticed something very important. It's the common thread from the last two times we've lost a game on a controversial last minute coaching decision.

Yes, I am fairly cynical. But I'm assuming (could be wrong) that Woods has written his fair share of checks to support athletics at Stanford, so he'll probably continue to pop up as an "honorary captain" every now and again. No, he's not the best dude around, but his behavior was far from criminal and I just hope he thinks a little more now about how his actions affect his family.

I wouldn't want either Ray Lewis or Tiger on the sideline but if I had to choose, I would take Tiger every time. I don't care how good that speech was before the NIT game. A murderer like Ray Lewis shouldn't be allowed  anywhere around Stanford.

I watched the video of Ray Lewis speaking to the men's bball team.  But I think that DShaw should sign up WShaw for pre-game pep talks.  When I heard Willie Shaw at the Fiesta Bowl pep rally, I was ready to strap on a helmet myself.
